How long does grooming take?

The duration of grooming depends on several factors, including the size of your pet, the type of grooming required, and the condition of their coat. Generally, a full grooming session can take anywhere from 2 hours to several hours. We will provide you with a more precise estimate once we assess your pet’s needs.

How often should my pet be groomed?

The frequency of grooming depends on your pet’s breed, lifestyle, and personal preferences. Generally, most pets benefit from regular grooming every 4 to 6 weeks. However, pets with long hair or those that are prone to matting may require more frequent grooming. We can provide personalised advice based on your pet’s specific needs during your visit.

What if my pet has fleas or skin allergies?

If your pet has fleas, we recommend a flea treatment bath before grooming. For pets with allergies, we use special medicated or hypoallergenic shampoos. Please inform us in advance of any skin conditions.

Do you check for health issues during grooming?

Yes! Our groomers look for signs of skin infections, ear problems, or abnormalities during grooming and will notify you if anything unusual is detected.

Can I request a specific groomer?

Yes! If your pet is comfortable with a specific groomer, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I stay and watch while my pet is being groomed?

For safety reasons and to prevent distractions, we recommend allowing our groomers to work in a calm environment. However, we’re happy to provide updates or photos upon request!
